A practical training course for those of you living with children or young people who have social communication needs or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who are talking.

About the course

This course is for you if you live with or care for children and young people who are talking but find social situations challenging, whether they have a diagnosis of ASD or not. There will be something in this for you!

It will provide you with:

You'll be taught over seven two-hour sessions. These are available via Zoom as well as direct face-to-face teaching. The content of both is exactly the same, just the delivery method is different. These are fun and interactive and cover a wide range of topics.

If you want to delve a bit deeper, then apply for Communication Support for Verbal Pupils with ASD. This will develop your knowledge and practical skills in key areas and can lead to accreditation at level 2 or 3.
