This book is amazing. We shared it with the children and it started lovely conversations about feelings. The children talked about whether everyone feels the same in different situations and how people might respond differently. We also linked body sensations to the characters’ feelings and discussed what advice the children would give to someone who found it hard to express themselves.

Please wait for me is a lovely story book with beautiful illustrations. It is well written to capture how a child with speech and language difficulties can struggle amongst their peers. The book is child friendly and written in a way to help children understand to support their friends to help them grow as an individual. I would recommend to all teachers and parents.
