Liz Elks who, with Henrietta McLachlan, set up Elklan in 1998, has retired from Elklan last month. As well as acting as a Director for Elklan, Liz is a highly experienced speech and language therapist with a passion for supporting children’s communication development in educational settings.

In recent years, Liz has been particularly involved in developing the Communication Friendly Settings (CFSe) and Schools programmes.

Liz has been thinking about retiring for a little while, and now, with her fourth grandchild born this month, she decided it was the right time to move on to new and different things.

We are sure everyone will join us in wishing Liz all the best for the new adventures and opportunities life will bring!
