Frenchay Aphasia Screening Test (FAST), Third Edition, 2013, Stass Publications.
A test to screen patients for the presence of aphasia. Now all in one booklet, all in one place, ready to be a favourite again!
Devised by Professor Pamela Enderby, Victorine Wood and Derick Wade.
The Frenchay Aphasia Screening Test was developed for use by non-specialists, such as junior medical staff, nurses, occupational therapists and others, to assist in identifying patients who have difficulties understanding, using spoken language, reading or writing. This test is brief and simple to administer, can be used in a busy ward or home situation and has good reliability when used by non-specialists. The test comprises a manual with clear directions, clear picture material, a photocopiable administration form and updated information on the 'Use of the Frenchay Aphasia Screening Test in Research' written by Professor Enderby.
